Ian Hurst qualified as a solicitor in 1999, having trained at Simpson Millar, where he worked almost exclusively in the Employment Department. He specialises in employment law and has notable experience in discrimination claims. He has expertise in Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal work.
Ian joined Lock & Marlborough in February 2006 to develop the Employment Department, and has worked for both claimants and respondents.
