We will, of course, minimise costs wherever possible without affecting the quality of service we provide. Our fees cover all of the work required to complete the purchase of your new home including dealing with registration at the Land Registry and the payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax (stamp duty), the amount payable depends on the buyers’ status under the new rules and the purchase price of the property.

Re-mortgage
The fee for acting for yourself and the lender starts at £695 plus VAT @ 20% and disbursements. We can often avoid carrying out additional searches by taking out an indemnity insurance thereby saving this cost of searches if the property is owned by you. The typical cost of the indemnity insurance is around £60 inc VAT @ 20%, a saving of over £200 on doing additional searches. This is subject to the mortgage provider’s agreement.
These fees do vary from property to property and can on occasion be more than the ranges stated above but will always be on a fixed fee basis, and we can give an accurate figure when we have had sight of your specific documents, and in some cases the fees may be lower.
